The famous Christ Hospital School of Nursing is the established in the year of 1872 especially to offer health care services to the local people of the Hudson count and other areas. It never discriminated on the basis of caste, creed, national origin or race and it maintains this till today too. It has been more than 100 years that this school of nursing has not stopped educating the nursing aspirants and making them thorough professionals in Jersey City, New Jersey.
This prominent Christ Hospital School of Nursing also amalgamated with the HCCC or Hudson County Community Colleges in the Jersey City, which basically offered regular edification and some courses related to Science. The students after the completion of these programs were awarded with a Nursing Diploma and an Associate Degree in Science. HCCC was established in the year of 1981 and in the year of 1999, School of Nursing collaborated with HCCC to form cooperative program.
Currently, Christ Hospital School of Nursing offers numerous basic nursing courses, which the following classes as per the convenience of the students:
Day Division: The students, who are enrolled for day classes attend classes and clinical hands-on experience during the daytime.
Evening Division: In the same way, the students, who are enrolled for evening classes attend classes and clinical hands-on experience in the evening including select weekends.
During weekend the students can also avail many non-nursing courses that are offered on the weekends.
